The story started back in the 1930’s with my Grandparents in their 9th Street South Philadelphia deli and bakery. The business thrived until 1952 when my grandfather passed away, but the tradition of a family food business remained with me until I opened my first pizza shop outside of Atlantic City in 1987.

Now living in Savannah, Georgia it was my son Lou Jr and my daughter Tara who urged me to open another pizza shop and, once again, in 2006 we opened Screamin’ Mimi’s at our now famous location in the Crawford Square Plaza in the historic district located in downtown Savannah.

Please take the time to look over the website to get a better feel for who we are, what we do, and how we give back to our beautiful city of Savannah. We know that once you taste the food you will be hooked! Not only is the food exceptional, but the people at Mimi’s are a step above. At Mimi’s we treat you like family and take the time to get to know all of our customers on a first name basis. We invite families with children to enjoy drawing with chalk on the blackboards and just having fun.  And for Pet lovers we have fresh filtered water on our outside terrace for your dog, while you can enjoy dining there as well.

Enough talk! Just stop by and pay us a visit, try some delicious and authentic Jersey eats, and leave us a message on the blackboard. We would love to see you, and remember we offer “Free Parking”, which is rare in the Historic District, online ordering, and delivery.
